The 6TH ANNUAL VILLAGE OF ROCHESTER HILLS ICE CARVING FESTIVAL
February 13, 14 and 15, 2009

World-class ice carving professionals will take up their laser sharp ice tools and chain saws when the Village of Rochester Hills hosts a weekend of ice sculpting, shopping and dining. Nearly 25 entertaining, and artistic ice sculptures will grace the streets and parks of the Village February 13, 14 and 15, 2009.
Patrons are invited to visit the Village beginning February 11 to watch the carvers create the works of art, as the artists will be carving many different carvings throughout the weekend. Bring your camera, and get a picture with your favorite ice carving.
Featured carvers are some of the area's most prolific and lauded artists. Tajana Raukar of Ice Dreams who has won the Alaskan World Ice Art Carving competition, and has competed as an ice carver in the last two Winter Olympics and Ted Wakar of Frozen Images, World Champion will highlight this year's team.
The Village of Rochester Hills features many interesting shops, department stores, and eateries. While visiting the ice carving festival please also set aside some time to visit the shops and restaurants.
The Village of Rochester Hills, located at the NE corner of Walton and Adams Roads in Rochester Hills. It is open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from Noon until 6:00 p.m.
